Rates
Neuropsychological evaluations are comprehensive and lengthy, involving input from family members, clinicians, and teachers (for children), in addition to several hours of individualized testing, interview, and questionnaire
assessments. Rates vary upon assessment needs and reflect the time involved in the testing process, data scoring, report write-up, editing, and feedback sessions. For evaluations, the hourly rate is $200. Necessary information can
be provided to seeking reimbursement from out-of-network insurance or flexible savings accounts.
Full educational assessments rates for reading, writing, and math are also $200/hour. The overall evaluation rate is reduced for testing only one or two of the academic areas (e.g., reading and math).
Insurance
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance. We accept:
- Blue Cross/Blue Shield (BCBS)
- Cigna
- GIC Indemnity
Most insurance plans cover neuropsychological and psychological assessments. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
- Do I have neuropsychological and/or psychological evaluation insurance benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
Educational Assessments are not coveredy by health insurance companies.
Payment
Cash and check are accepted for payment.
